Banner products have proven themselves both in the chilly weather of northern Scandinavia and the heat stress of Africa.

Banner GmbH was founded in 1937 by Artur Bawart and is still under sole family ownership. The company's entire starter battery output is productions at its plant in Linz-Leonding, one of the most modernized and environment-friendly battery production facilities in Europe, and then distributed to branches and sales outlets all over the world. For more than seventy years, the famous buffalo symbol has stood for the production of batteries, which fulfil the highest quality standards required by the automotive industry.
